About us

The SIG SVC formative meeting was chaired by Stephen Kwan, San Jose State University, CA, at the 2006 ICIS. Sue Conger, University of Dallas, TX drafted the proposal for the SIG which she and Ramesh Venkataraman, Indiana University, IN submitted for AIS approval. The proposal was approved in December 2007.

The initial slate of officers, mostly volunteers, was elected at the 2007 ICIS Montreal meeting, included the following:
